Mohammed A. Al-Barwani

Al-Barwani an Economics graduate from the U.S.A, holding a Master's degree in Agricultural Economics and Business finance. He is also a trained and experienced Agronomist, holding a diploma in Tropical Agriculture from Uganda. He worked for a number of years in various positions in Agricultural Research and production farms, in Agricultural Extension Services and Policy Planning in East Africa, United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman.

MohammedIn 1975 he joined Citibank. His professional banking career of 27 years includes extensive experience in International Corporate and Public sector Finance, work and residency in a number of Gulf countries with work related travel in many Middle East countries as a Senior Banker. His last position was a Senior Vice President and Deputy Head of the Credit Risk Management Group of a major international bank based in Bahrain. He has served with regional and international retail and wholesale, investment and merchant banking institutions where he was actively involved in business development, credit and investment proposals, investment reviews and approvals, credit risk and remedial management functions. In addition to regional project, commercial, government and financial institutions lending, he played key roles in the evaluation and screening of hundreds of millions of dollars of investment proposals related to governments, new ventures, energy, manufacturing and other projects.

Since the year 2002 he has been providing consultancy services from his Muscat base. As an agro-industry consultant, Al-Barwani is currently working on the promotion of modern proven soil-less hydroponics farming in collaboration with leading technology suppliers and manufacturers of equipment and other strategic partners actively engaged in similar activities in the Gulf region.

Michael K Sun

MichaelMichael Sun hails from a career spanning 33 years in the financial services industry. Training with one the Big Five accountancy practices, Michael, more recently was Managing Director of a Offshore Private Trust Company, where he had oversight of the management of over 20 billion US dollar worth of assets for private clients, dealing with asset protection and strategic issues for household names worldwide.

His strengths lie in corporate governance and project management skills that are necessary in the implementation of complex systems. With significant contacts worldwide, Michael has access to new emerging technologies and sources of capital for such projects.

An enthusiast for searching out technological solutions to address the current environmental challenges, Michael spends significant time investigating Green solutions. His current portfolio of solutions include, waste management systems for the power plants, water purification through desalination and "green" power generation.

Bob Johal

BobBorn and educated in London UK, Bob graduated as a Clinical Biochemist from the University of London. He is managing partner of the London offices of Bridge Partners which is an advisory group to a number of Saudi family offices, based in London’s Mayfair, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Bob’s focus is to promote global sustainability, economically, environmentally, socially and spiritually, and therefore is actively involved with global initiatives in the sectors of healthcare, food security, social housing, malnutrition, education and social enterprise.

Bob holds a number of advisory board positions in the UK and internationally and is a member of Her Majesties government all party policy group.

Ben Long

Ben Long is an experienced project manager with a proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget. Ben combines creativity, communication and know-how to develop, deliver and maximise new business opportunities. Project experience has been varied from the corporate world of Nomura (the Japanese Investment Bank) to creative consultation with Brands including Walmart, Red Bull, Sony and Manchester United FC.

Having studied Landscape Architecture at Manchester University Ben has always had a keen interest in the environment and has recently completed his first level IEMA training qualification. IEMA is a professional body for practitioners involved in environmental management and assessment.

Douglas Hampson

Douglas Hampson, is a British-born entrepreneur who is a major shareholder and an advisor to the company. He started, built up and sold three successful real estate-related businesses after working for three major American companies. Mr Hampson provides general business advice. He has a degree in Economics from Manchester University with honours and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

Kelly Lefebvre

Kelly Lefebvre combines expertise in business strategy, organization development and strategic communications with knowledge and passion for a healthy, vibrant environment. At the heart of her business expertise lies the value of ‘Doing Well by Doing Good’.

Kelly Lefebvre works as a strategy consultant with a number of privately held consulting firms. In Martinique, French West Indies, she leveraged local demand for the use of environmentally sound products and technologies, insuring local ownership and empowerment. She participated actively in bringing to the attention of the greater public the coral reef preservation program of Petite Terre, UNESCO protected Nature Reserve. She created a pioneering sustainability-oriented Leadership Development Program and is currently involved in various research projects at the cross-roads of social innovation, sustainability and business strategy.

Born in Paris France and raised in the Caribbean, Ms. Lefebvre attended New York University for her professional certification in Training and Development. She holds a Master of Arts in International Management, cum laude, from the Bradford School of Management, UK and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from ESSEC Business School, France.
